I disputed items online with Equifax on 8/13. Thought I would check whats happening and according to my notes- I am supposed to able to check status anytime by going through the start investigation request. I am supposed to put in confirm# from report. I did it said I can't start an investigation. I have to send email. I tried the confirm # of the dispute, again nothing. Is there something I am missing? I received mail from them about 35 days after filing on line. Call 1-800-810-5654 with your equifax confirmation (report) number handy. Ask directly about your inquiry, try to avoid other issues as written word is always better.
