   a CA that wont validate a debt to me, and also pulled my credit file AFTER i sent a validation letter. what steps do i need to take to start a lawsuit. is it expensive? i am in florida (miami).thanks

   It is easy and relatively inexpensive (although some courts charge you based on your claim amount like they do here in DC). In small claims court you do not need an attorney. Make sure you serve them correctly, and have your evidence ready.
