How do you go about disputing creditors after the credit bureus have verified when accounts were opened without your authorization? Is there a process for this? Do credit bureus have to show you evidence of why they accepted the creditors verification process?

Could really use some advice here...thanks!

If a credit bureau verifies an acct. you dispute, you can send the credit bureau a request for the procedures used to verify. They "should" respond with the name and address of the company as well as a ph. # and hopefully, but doubtfully a name of the rep.

Why is the name of the rep. important? Something you can use to your advantage?

When a CRA says they contacted a company and VERIFIED...MANY TIMES THEY DON'T...it's easier to lie...

Somebody actually got in contact with the ONE PERSON that could "VERIFY" the account...they said that CRA NEVER CONTACTED HER about the account!!!
