how do you "opt-out"

    so you do not get inquiries-and does this mean you will not get any pre qual offers anymore.And is this a negative if you are applying for a loan? Does this mean one cannot get there credit file pulled by anyone even if initiated by the consumer for a loan ,mortgage etc.?

    OPT-OUT is only for promotional inquires.

    It stops nobody from pulling a credit report when you apply for credit.
