I called Experian less than 5 minutes ago - to delete personal information (only some of it, so far...will explain why in a minute) and I checked my report - all info listed under investigation! ahhh! satisfying! lol

Why doesnt EQ list things in dispute or under investigation when you dispute directly with them? its kinda depressing to have to wait the full 30 days for results!!! Maybe because I made the mistake of disputing old personal stuff online. I dunno. But it bugs me. <stomp>

Anyway... here is some fun stuff. I was married before...and in the divorce my ex took over some payments and stuff --- for whatever reason, the CCs stopped reporting to my reports... alllll credit cards that we shared show a balance - last reported in 2002. There is no balance on these.

I wasnt sure what to do - because since there is no balance, I am no longer on the accounts... I didnt wanna dispute them, and have the CRA delete the entire trade line. making my credit history practically nil - and brand new. ya know??

So... I sat and sat and then called my ex... (trembling) But, he was amazingly nice! He is calling all of the CCs - and putting me back on them as an AU...so that they will report up to date. mmmmm GOOOOOD STUFF! hows that for a nice ex?

now, if they will only ALL report to ALL three!!!

Any idea if I can call them... (only as an AU) and ask that they report to all three...rather to just a few? My experian report only shows 2 of the cards I have ever had...(of course listing a balance) OR would my ex need to do that?

I think if they report to a bureau they should report on your report as well. But remember, not all creditors report to all three bureaus. If they don't belong to and report to a bureau, I don't know if it would do any good to ask.

Regardless, MOST creditors will only honor requests like that from the cardholder, not from an AU. But each one could be different.
