I have a friend who recently due to unforseen circumstances had her vehicle repossessed. Are these types of entries nearly impossible to remove from her report......

Your best chance to get it removed is to negotiate a payoff settlement in exchange for removal. Pay 100% of what is owed NOW and get EVERYTHING in writing. Then when it is paid, get it removed.

    Just a thought.

IF they don't go for it, go to court claiming that the repo person physically threatened you, which is a BIG no-no in 40 states.

But what if the repo person DIDN'T threaten you? That would be LYING, possibly SLANDER. That would be illegal!

Isn't that perjury too? Thats a felony correct? Also, I don't think my conscience could handle something like that. Oh geesh I don't think my mind would even think of damaging someone else lifestyle or family by saying something like that. I don't know sounds like something a criminal would do.

    JrJr35-
The real fact is that several people have had repos removed from their reports just by disputing as not mine. Someone I know well had a repo come off TU and EQ the first round and EX the third time around.Persistance is the key.
