How hard would it be to get my new citi AA card upgraded to a plat select citi card it has no annual fee and starting out @2.9%? I've seen post on the board where they upgraded as soon as they got their card,should I try this good or bad idea? mindy
Many people here say they have done that. When I called and asked, the csr said to "apply" for the platinum card. I called back another day to ask the same question and got the same answer. I applied and they turned me down, and that was when I called and talked to them about their credit requirements. But I don't see any reason not to call and ask. Maybe your answer will be different than mine. Maybe Citi has changed what they do, maybe it was just the reps I got, maybe it was me. Who knows??? breeze - it's raining here - no beach
