My dh applied for Citi Business Card and was denied for "you already have the maximum amount of credit we issue per individual". I have a hard time believing that. Are they talking about total lines from other grantors or they themselves. Could some of you who have high lines with them reply.
citi is 12000, att univ is 11000, they are both citi but different divisions, they are not even business cards, maybe because he is a sole prop. individual count
ONLY WITH 2 1/2 BDD AND ONE NO QUESTIONS ASKED INCREASE AT ONE YEAR... $20,000+ PERSONAL NOT BUSINESS
They count total credit extended (i.e., AT&T + Citi + Associates) when determining this. It usually has to do with income. My total credit with Citi is $30,000.
I currently have the following with Citi - all personal: Platinum Select $20,000 Dividend P/S $20,000 HHonors Visa $25,000 Diners Club $10,000 Checking Overdraft $5,000 Ready Credit LOC $14,500 Mortgage and HELOC BTW, when I applied for a cl increase on Hilton Visa, I tried for $30,000 and they capped it at $25,000 saying that was the my I could get with my income. Regards, Chester
Wow......ChesterR........that is impressive. Can we assume you have a substantial six figure income to get these kind of C/L's?
