   Hello,
   
   I ordered a credit report from freecreditprofile.com. They say that the score is from TU. It has inquiries dating back over a year. How long are inquiries supposed to stay on your credit report? Does it count heavily against you to have inquiries that are over 18 mos old?

   The hard inquiries stay on for 2 yrs. After one year, they aren't SUPPOSED to hurt your score. I'm not sure I believe that, though I don't think they'd hurt too much, unless you have a whole bunch of them!
