Hey, I am just curious about the average wait time ya guys stay on the phone to talk to a live credit card representative? In my experience, Citibank most of the time picks up my calls in 2 or 3 rings. At times I need to wait for a minute. I think they are pretty fast... Chase is fast too... I personally think that Bank of America is one of the slowest... Also when I had an MBA platinum Plus card, the average wait time was like 4 to 5 minutes..it was a bit too long.. But since I upgraded my card to a Quantum,my calls are picked up almost right away... A big difference..
RE: How long do ya wait for a Citibank was always fast, I don't remember having to wait on hold with them. The CSR are quite knowledgeable and helpfull. MBNA was a couple of minutes, but I called only once. Providian is variable, sometimes I got almost instantly, other times I had to wait for like 8-10 minutes. Associates is the worst, they don't even put you on a waiting queue if their lines are very busy...
