I just filed a complaint online, does anyone know how long it takes for them to respond?
    Thanks,

You will get a form letter in a 2 to 3 weeks. That'll be the end of it.

I've filed, what I believe to be, 3 different valid complaints. I got the same "form" response on two and no response to one.

I've not heard anything else from them.

That really sucks. What was I thinking anyway, a government agency actually helping consumers? well I guess it didnt hurt to try. I thought that I had saw a post by someone who had good results with the FTC but I could be mistaken. Anyone else?
    thanks Pat.

Yes, I wrote to them about Innovis, and I got back a form letter which definitely showed that they didn't even read it. I was rather upset.

The FTC will NOT step in on your behalf. They do not get involved in individual matters. What they do is collect the complaints, and when they have what they consider 'enough', they investigate the company and then levy fines or take court action. However, whatever the FTC does or doesnt do will not help you out. They are NOT there for the consumers, they are there for the govt. Your best bet is to file a complaint with your state's consumer affairs department - state agencies WILL step in on your behalf.
