I got mine 5 business days after approval. I'm currently waiting for my Optima Platinum card. They say it was mailed on the 20th. Haven't seen it yet.
Yep, just called and said: "....I'll no longer be flying on Delta. Can you please set me up with another type of card...just a plain card that has no affiliations." He still tried to offer me any of the hotel cards. I was like, can I have just a regular card please? So he said there's the Optima, Optima Platinum, blah blah blah. I was like, I'll take the Optima Platinum. Then he started to record the conversation to confirm everything. In the conversation, he stated *Optima* (w/ no Platinum). So after he said his thing, I reiterated what he said and then asked, "This is for the Optima PLATINUM, right?" He confirmed. Why did I get a confirmation letter stating, "....we have transferred you to the Optima card....". I was like WTF? So I immediately called. He had set me up w/ the regular Optima card but the rep fixed everything for me. Reversed what he did and set me up w/ the Platinum card.
