What are your experiences with disputing judgments? How long til they were either verified or deleted? Usually the full 30 days or sooner?

I have a serious case of CheckAllCreditReports-itis. I am fairly obsessive -- even when there AREN'T disputes pending. BUT, We handled all of the names and address info - and I have JUST placed my husbands judgments in dispute on Experian...and I am afraid they may have to sedate me, or maybe even lock me up. <twitch>

Please tell me a few things.
First, that I am not completely in need of behavior modification therapy - and that there are others who have this issue.
Second, that Experian will take the full month and I can just stop my daily wondering. (I know that they will email me if there are changes...but...but..but.. I just wanna look)

I've learned to simply forget about any particular dispute. I keep track of when/which but don't check it compulsively.

If > 30 days and they don't do something, then I act on it. Hasn't happened yet.

Judgements take longer, since the court has to verify. I've had 15 out of 30 tax liens fall off that way.

as a note, it's generally best to put court items (bankruptcies and judgements) on a separate dispute. Otherwise, things that come back quicker will have to wait on the court part.

I only disputed his judgments (there were 5) and only with Exp.

I really must be obsessive. lol I just want results!!! I wanna know whats going to happen!! and I wanna know now!! <sigh>

I have checked all three reports (x2 - me and H) once a day - plus PG (x2) once a day. scanning for ANY difference. <twitch flinch>

really, between my husband and hunting season, and me with credit stuff - I dont think we are able to have a conversation with normal people anymore. lol

you can check EXP in real time. Go to their website and log in like you want to start a new dispute. When you do, you can see the status of your outsanding disputes as well.

Check it 20x a day if you feel like it :)

    Riiiiiight. I know. lol

    THAT is the problem.

It is SOO satisfying to see name and address disputes pop up imediately - and then shortly after see them disappear. <happy sigh>

I just put his judgments into dispute yesterday - I IMMEDIATELY checked to see that they were listed... ahhh they were!

We are in michigan...and the michigan court stuff is not available online -- you have to either go to the court house here - or order them by mail. We went to the court house and found out the info for my H. I am assuming that because of this...it will take a long time to be verified - or maybe just auto verified because they wont bother...or if I am lucky just deleted because they wont bother.

I have one judgment and its from indiana. I am able to see it online through a court search. it was free and fast. I found out what was needed to verify there in minutes. All verifyable info is changed...so hopefully that works - and will be faster.

I am just overly anxious I think and dont know how to make myself less.......addicted.
