    Hi All,

Does anyone know how many accounts you can have with Cap1? I currently have two, a classic and a gold and was just approved for another Gold card. For a sub-prime (all I can get at this point) I like their service. Do you think having a few accounts with them in good standing will help or hurt my credit increases in the future?

    Thanks

Within reason, the more in good standing, the better. You CAN go overboard, but your three aren't even close.

they love you to have as many cards as possible as they stick you with their crazy yearly fees :)

I have two cards....but i'm so sick of cap one not reporting limits to the bureaus that i'm tempted to close both. They tell me it's because of "competitive business practices". They are also extremely tight on the line increases.

One time I had three Capital One accounts. Two of them are unsecured and the other one is secured.
