How many CapOne's allowed?

I have Cap one geen, three years, 3500.00

Just got (online) cap One Gold, 300.00

Also just got two pre-approvals for 5k plat Cap one.


Dont know the limit on # of cards, but guess it's more than two.

My husband just received his second Cap 1 Gold MC. I just got a Cap 1 Gold Visa and Gold K-Mart MasterCard (issued by Cap 1). My husband just put me as an authorized user on his first Cap 1 Gold card. As an authorized user it is supposed to report on my credit report as well. So I guess unofficially that will put me at three.

 

I have three in my name only. A capital one green, open since 12/00... 600.00 credit line, Kmart at 1100.00 credit line, open since 9/2000, and Kmart gold 600.00 credit line open since 6/2001. I hate having three, I want to get them consolidated and keep just the green one. Apr is 12.9 on the green, they lowered it in retention.

 

I HAD 3 AT ONE TIME. I CLOSED ONE AND COMBINED 2. YOU HAVE TO WAIT 6 MONTHS TO COMBINE

 

3, told no on 4th without a credit report pulled.

Certainly using combining helps increase the limits.
