That really was a great thread. I had 20 cards then, and in the 15 months since then I've only gotten two new cards.

And actually I am interested in seeing by the end of the week where I stand because I pfb'd all my cards today and nicely asked, "what have you done for me lately?" aka "What will you do now with no more than a soft inquiry?" lol

AMEX BLUE/DELTA~~been 2 months...they still CAN'T make BLUE $1,000 and DELTA the rest of the credit limit... MBNA~~pretty close to 8 years NO LIMIT INCREASE... CHASE~~"JACKED" ME to 16.24% because of an IMAGINARY 30 DAY LATE THAT ONLY NEW ACCOUNTS CAN SEE...

Really, no one is giving me any special BT offers and I rarely carry a balance so they're all the same to me Yes I'm doing the secured to build credit. Three months to go! Now which one looks cooler... the BoA Gold secured wins hands down

daveberk, I think I remember your old Providian Gold card. I like your new portfolio, but I'm struck even more by the fact that you haven't kept a single one of your old subprime cards. That is absolutely fantastic!
