How many Inq's can they pull?

I did some shopping for a laptop, and applied to Dell and Gateway. Each pulled my credit 3 times - 2 hard and a soft - before declining me. ($crew 'em I bought one on eBay for cash).

Anyway, now I have 6 inquiries. Dell pulled me 3 times in 1 day, and gateway twice in one day then again 2 weeks later.

I will accept one inquiry each as having Permissible purpose. How about the rest? ITS letter time?

I would think so, too. I dont think they have PP to be pulling so many reports. Especially gateway two weeks after being declined. I would go after them on that, for sure. Good luck!!

Did they pull 3 times across each of the CRAs (i.e., once on each of the CRAs for a total of 3) or 3 on one CRA?

If 3 on one CRA, in my experience EQ and EXP will delete the extra ones if you call them. Both of them indicated to me that their subscription only allows for one pull per month. They deleted them as I was on the phone -- no hassles whatsoever.

Unfortunately, if it is with TU you're screwed.

I only checked Experian, so I don't know about TU. My EFX file is still blocked because of litigation.

I don't care if the extra inquiries are removed, I just want the money.

Now that is what I call a litigious mindset. :)

I don't know. They can pull each CRA. If they pulled more than once on same CRA seems OK and if it isn't, they can just say it was a "mistake" on the CRA's part.
