When you apply for a credit card etc?I read it could be as much as 10 points.Is it true if you apply for more than one card on the same day, you will only loose points for one?But if you apply for one, one day then another the next day you get dinged twice b/c there on differnt days?
The hard inquiry could cost you more like 5 points or so: How Many Points Will My Credit Score Drop From Hard Inquiries? And it's not true that if you apply for more than one credit card on the same day it will only count as one hard inquiry. Each one will count individually.
