is this gonna do? DH and I have a settled, paid chargeoff with Wells Fargo Fin. from 1998. It is the oldest TL left on my experian. They removed it from the other CRA's and EX removed it from DH's but its stuck like glue on mine. After 5 years, is it gonna hurt or be ok? Drop off in 05.

A 5 year old charge off at this point has very little affect on your score. In fact, if it is your oldest, even though it is a derog, you may very well lose points if it was deleted. At 5 years old and pd. it won't be a question if you were to go for a mortgage. It may be with some cc issuers, but not all. I would probably still try to get rid of it, but if it stays, it isn't a terrible situation.
