I keep checking it, but I'm wondering if everytime I look at it it's a new one, or if I'm seeing the same one from this morning, like CW.
I was afraid of that. I was hoping it was from this morning, and that's why all of my inquiry disputes didn't just magically fall off!! Patience definately isn't something I'm very good at!! Thank you!
Experian doesn't always update for me. The date on the score this morning says 8/19/2002. When do they update as this has happened a few times.
I believe tracyb0313 asked question about credit report and how often it's updated because he/she wants to see inquiries deleted. There was no question about score. Their score is fake like TU. I only take FICO seriously BTW.
This is my observations on how EX works: Your score and your report will update 24 hours after the last time you pulled them. For example, if you look at your report at 7:00 AM today, you will not get a "new" one until 7:00 am tomorrow. Same with your score. This can present an anomoly (which I've observed) if you get your score but don't pull your report. For example, if you get a new score at 7:00am but don't pull your report until 2:00 pm, they could be out of synch. If accounts have updated between 7 and 2, your report will be accurate but your score will be wrong. Which brings me to another point. I think that EX updates all day long. If Bank X sends in credit data at 9:30, then EX updates your report immediately. I can't be absolutely certain, but it looks like EQ updates via a batch job overnight.
I know EQ updates every in 24 hours, that's why I was wondering about EX. I'm waiting to see in inquiries come off, and check it every morning and every night (none have come off yet, BTW!!)
my score has not updated for a month maybe its just because i pull my report everyday.. I dont know... CE and experian are both a pain in my ass.. LOL Kev
I agree, I hate EXP. They are the worst CRA I've dealt with. I've had GREAT luck with TU, which is weird because they are a pain in everyone elses ass! I just want EXP to GO AWAY!!
