I have two CapOne cards, a gold and Platinum. The gold card has a $700.00 credit limit. The platinum card has a $600.00 credit limit.

Through planet feedback, they raised the $600.00 Platinum card to $1300.00, lowered my apr to a fixed 14%, and waived my membership fee.

The gold card still remains at $700.00, 19% apr, and membership fee.

BUT ... I received the gold card 5/2000, and the Platinum card 2/2002.

I want to combine cards but I'm not sure in which direction gold to platinum or platinum to gold.

One thing is for sure I only want ONE card through Captial One...

does history matter? or when they combine accounts, does the history remain active?

Give Cooke a shout and explain to him your situation. He should be able to take care of this for you.

    Best regards,

"IF" the history is IMPORTANT...combine both into the OLDEST one to keep the history and ask for the BEST OF THE TERMS...
