I cancelled CE today. Before cancelling I pulled a fresh report and everything looked the same. Then a few hours later I received notification that a significant change has occured. How could this be? How soon can I signup again?
I gotta go for a few hours. Somebody please bump this for me if no answer gets posted. By the way, if a tradeline gets deleted will a CE notification generate? I hope that's the case.
Ditto Hey Killer, Same thing happened to me. I got the following letter...but, when I checked, there was absolutely NO change to any of my accounts. Must be a system fluke... -----Original Message----- From: Notification@creditexpert.com [mailto:Notification@creditexpert.com] Sent: Wednesday, April 03, 2002 2:52 PM Subject: Credit Manager: Alert Notification XXXX, An important modification or new information has just been added to your credit history. Re: Ditto Killer... I didn't wait to long. a few days.. maybe a week.. but why don't you go ahead and try when you come in tonight. Please post what you find. Cherie
In this post and another people are saying they're getting notices although their aren't any changes. So I will wait a few days before signing up.
Sounds to me like they're sad that you're leaving them. They didn't get your $$$. I'd be sad too. Well... they're already sad, but maybe that's another thread. Smitty A penny saved... still ain't enough!
Have any of you guys ever thought about actually paying for a service you use after getting the 30 days free? What makes you think you are entitled to get it for free over and over?
Not trying to sound like your mother LOL. It's just the right thing to do and too be honest, doing things like this is what helped to get alot of us in the situation we were in before. I'm not preaching. I used to do the same thing. I think it all boils down to a change in behaviour patterns that will ultimately decide whether we succeed or fail with our credit.
I asked the same question...WHY NOT JUST PAY FOR IT??? That's as good as going back 10 times for FREE chip samples at the grocery store to save $2.00...
