    Hello Everyone,

I had a Roadrunner Account with Time Warner that was over due for about $112.00 in March of 2002. I paid them in august of 2002. I received a copy of my CR and saw that this account was placed under Paid/Collection to a company called CREDIT MANAGEMENT INC. (CMI)

Since I made the payment directly to TimeWarner and not to CMI is there anyway to get it removed??? I had tried the Verify route and it came up validated...

    any suggestions?

The first time I ever had anything removed from my credit report was a collection from Insight Cablevision, it was before I ever found this awsome board.

I was in the same boat, I had paid Insight (albeit late) and never knew there was a collection on the account.

After years.. I pull my credit report, and saw the collection/paid.. I just sent them feedback via their website asking for an explanation... next thing I know there is a letter in the mail saying that it was a mistake and that it has been forwarded to the CA and CRA's...
