    Ok an account says:

    >Paid Collection<
    Act: XXXX
    mr lender #1

    Updated:11/2001 Open acct
    Placed: 07/2001 Indiv acct
    Paid off: 12/1998 Asset acceptance
    Cr pur from
    Balance:0
    Most Owed: 1426
    Past Due:1426

    > Status as of 12/1998: Payment after Charge off/collection.<

This same account ( I know it was, but doesn't look like it on CR) also shows up as:

    Acct # :XXXXX

    Mr. Bad lender #2

    >Purchased by another lender<

    Updated:2/2002 Revolving account
    opened:12/1998 Credit Card
    Paid off: 6/2001 Indiv account

    Balance: 0
    Most Owed:1424
    Past Due:0

    >Status as of 12/1998: Charged off as bad debt<

    Mr. Bad Lender #1 (again...)

    >profit and loss write off<

    updated 3/2003
    opened 11/2001
    closed 6/2002

    Balance:1726
    Most owed:1726
    Past due:717

    >Status as of 6/2002: Charged off as bad debt<

Now all 3 of these are ONE card I opened 12/1998.

How would you approach this one?? This is very confusing!! How could it be placed in 2001 if it was paid in 1998??? And if the first entry is correct how can the otehr two be or vice-versa??? If a debt is writeen off can it be sold? If a debt is charged off can it still show a balance or a past due amount?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I'll take a stab at it

Why would it be placed with a CA after being paid off?

    FORGET MY LAST POST!

    This is messed up royally!!!!!!!

I would have to get a full accounting from the OC to make sense of this. I am dizzy just trying to make heads from tails.

    Good luck!!!!!!
