I saw people on the other thread talking about getting deletions by calling in. I have a very stubborn account that needs to come off. What do you say when you call? How can they take it off right there? I need advice please.

That sounds like a job for Cpyrigirl. She's got the experience in dealing with these people on the telephone.

    its not that simple heather.

I would first suggestion is writing them and then calling if all else fails.

I don't like talking to the cras or the ca because it does nothing but frustrate you.

Create a paper trail, that is soo important!!!!

And when you do talk to them speak to a supervisor, because the CSRs are ususally the last to know about anything and they just disseminate incorrect information to the public.

I love when they tell me "My supervisor is only going to tell you the same thing I just told you"

    Ok then why have supervisors?

You should also be aware there are going to be some accounts where the creditor keeps verifying and they won't let it go. It really depends on your facts and circumstances.

    Thanks for the acknowledgment Manny!
