My DH has 1 item left on both his EQF and TU reports. The CH13 was deleted several months ago. Now this tradeline is reporting as "included in bk", but the bk is gone. Anyone have any insight into the best way to get rid of the last negative? The TL is Cap 1 on one report and Chase on another.
Since these are TU and EQ reports I would just keep hitting them with "not mine" and "not included in a BK" disputes. One risk is that the OC's don't have a record of the BK and update the tradeline to Charge Off. At least with TU and EQ you can keep disputing the charge offs. I have a couple that are stuck on EXP as charge off and EXP refuses to reinvestigate and I'm trying OC validation.
Wow! How on earth did you get them to investigate? Was it deleted the first time? EQ and EX refuse to investigate "again" for my dh's bk. TU deleted it wahoo!
Persistence I guess, and a lack of investigation on the CRA's part. I don't know. I guess it is just random luck.
