How to find a lawyer?

    Hello,

I have successfully fought off collection attempts on multiple accounts from several CAs on each account. in all cases settling out of court with said CAs for violations of FCRA and FDCPA laws. However I'm now stuck fighting the 3 main CRAs and don't have the time, patience or knowledge to deal with them in small claims court.

I need to find a lawyer in the Los Angeles area who is competent in dealing with FCRA and FDCPA laws at the federal court level. But I know looking through the phone book probably isn't the best solution.

More so, once I create a list of lawyers to contact what kind of questions do I need to ask them? One of my main concerns if the fact that I have no money to pay them up front. How do you get a lawyer to take your case and have them take payment out of whatever settlements they arrange. I'm not so concerned about the money as I am getting these accounts which no one can validate off my record.

    Thanks

    J
