I got my first credit report the other day and it came back with a bad score. It basically said that it was because I owe money to a creditor(s). Now I know that if I owe money to anyone, it is not very much, so I want to settle this as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I have not been contacted by any creditors EVER, so I have no idea who I owe money to ! Please help!
At the bottom of your credit report, is there not contact information (address/telephone #) with this company that wants this debt from you? I would call them up to see what they claim had been purchased (if they list the phone # [they don't always list the phone #, but always list their address).
