I have 2 friends with Cross country bank gold cards. about a month ago we were talking about the bank and they told me that when they received their card there was a balance of 100 and something dollars from FEES.

So, they told me the trick to get those fees deleted. And, as to this day, they have never paid any fees to CCB! Also, they adviced me to make sure that I pay my bill on time with them all the time, and access your account online!

I have 2 ccb cards. I did this with both a couple of days ago and they fees are gone. I only plan to use ccb for my car gas!

    So,

When you get appoved, they automatically bill you the fees. When you get your card, call in and ask to have the account closed....they will automatically delete the fees

Wait 24 hours and call in to reopen it, if they ask why, just say that you believe that you will use it. T

They give you a speal that you may get charge 50$ to reopen, you never do!

Then, wait a few hours, call and check your balance, and there will be no more fees!

never bring up the fee if you call in for customer service. in fact....try not to call in if you can. Its all long distance to call so its not worth it.

    Good luck
