I have a Sears card with a 300.00 cl account has been open going on 5 months. Payed as agreed and then some=statement said no payment due sent one in anyway I called once for an cl increase the CS rep gave me some junk about waiting 9 months for an increase. Let's just say I don't believe her. * how do I raise my limit? *any suggestions? *what is the biggest Sears line anyone ever heard of? any Sears stories good/bad? TIA

I DON'T KNOW...never asked for one...they just increase it every time I bought something BIG...like WASHER/DRYER, DISHWASHER, STOVE, REFRIGERATOR, ETC. ALL AT 0.00%... I only use the card for 0.00% or 10% OFF days... SINCE 1978.

Re: How to handle Sears???ADVICE Pl Sub4prime, They never denied my purchase even one time I bought a computer from them. They gave 12 months no interest financing for buying that computer. As long as you pay your bill,they will approve your purchase. I like to use my Sears Card because sometime you got 10% off by using the card or 0% financing for 6 months or 12 months for certain items. Ron.
Re: How to handle Sears???ADVICE Pl I was told that sometimes it is possible to receive an increase in 6months. Depends on both your cra score and your "score" with Sears. They did not do this for me, but told me it happens sometimes. I have had some major difficulties with Sears!! They can be very unpleasant....
