I posted a tidbit about the account Im having problems with in another thread yesterday . Anyway , I went to the hospital and had them print me a description of the admittance (was for my wife) . The bill for for tests that my insurance said I had a deductible for . Now , the tests were for tests that had to do with my first child , and she was born in 99 . The bill should have been covered in our bankruptcy of 01 but the service date is 02 . I know the test was done in 99 and I think 1 of 2 things happened . I believe the dates were switched by them or somehow they did not bill it for 3 years . I doubt it was not submitted for 3 years I would like to start scrubbing some of the BK's off our credit so I don't really wanna fight with them about service dates only to have the file added to my credit as BK . Im trying to get the files from the insurance company to figure out when it was billed and if they have any better information . Im thinking of calling the CA with my info (once I get it from the insurance) and letting them have the option of taking half payment to remove the TL from my files . I realize I could sue them if the dates of service were changed and they put this on my files as such but it still will add another dink to my file that I might be able to buy off of there . Any opinions ?
