How to handle TU?

Well, all I have left to clean up off of my reports is the "incl in BK" co-borrower, auto loan. This is ONLY on TU. EQ and EX have wised up and corrected my TLs. After 3 rounds of disputes, TU refuses to budge. I've read that letters sounding litigious are the best way to handle this CRA. I don't want to seek legal help but if it comes to it I'll be ready.

Well, today began my fourth round of disputes with them - the first three were variations of "bk is not mine" - today I tried something different. I disputed the balance ($0) as incorrect. "Balance is incorrect, please investigate" - I'd like to keep this as a positive TL, the debt is mine and I'm paying it. So, maybe someone disputing a $0 balance would raise a flag to investigate?

If this fails, I would send tu a letter detailing your issue. Make sure to tell them you know about the class action, for which you qualify to be included. Also make sure that they know you have suffered adverse action due to this libelous reporting.

    LOL

Bill, according to Dr. Seuss, the correct length is 39 1/2 Feet.

Intersting. I had little, if any, resistance from TU in getting rid of my derogs. EQ and EX? Lets not go there.

Well, I don't know where the good Dr. comes up with that dimension but I do know that 11 foot poles are supposed to be for touching things you would not touch with a 10 foot pole.

    LOL

    rocket1977,

I have had the complete opposite. EQ and EX have been the best to deal with; they were on time and reasonable. TU has been my thorn.

Does anyone have an example letter for this type of correspondence?

    Four-

Could you email me a copy of that letter too please??

I have the same problem TU they refuse to investigate a previously investigated item. I have totally clean reports except for TU.

Yep, I will. Hey beta, is it for the same bk thing? The letter is tailored for bk reporting when you havent filed.

I got mine deleted, but I'm not sure if it was the letter that did it. It took 4 tries and the oc still refused.

I will send them the first chance I get.

    Thanks Four-

It's not for BK, I don't have one but I still could use it. It probably has some good info. that could be tailored to my needs.

    Thanks!!
