So, I got 2 out of 3 of my credit reports (I thought there were worse stuff on my credit, only one marked UNPAID for $117.00) Other than my current address was WRONG - And my employment history is not even CLOSE to up to date... Since I just got a credit card (Jointly, me as CO-APPLICANT) that should report POSITIVE - And the only thing I have left is to TOTALLY get rid of that $117.00 that is now marked PAID (because I just paid it) But I want to get RID OF THAT TOTALLY... How can I do this?
Yeah, I called up the two places I was able to obtain my credit report from and they removed the address that is not mine... I asked them if I can know who reported that as my address they said no, but they were removed. I paid the pager in full to my knowledge, but I don't have proof for most of my records were burnt in a fire. I said I'll pay it, it was only $117.00 - They said to contact the places I obtained my credit report from to remove it - They told me to contact the people that put it on - I'm being thrown in a loop now.
