I will be moving next month to a condo. Can somebody please suggest the best way to report my new address?

    Should I state: #24? Unit 24? Apt 24? or just 24?

I just don't want any problems later with 3 or 4 different variations showing up on my CR because I may have problems accessing my reports on-line.

I may also have problems when I make new applications for credit.

And I definitely don't want the hassle later of disputing all these addresses with the CRAs!

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

If you go to the US Postal Service Website, you can do your change of address online. They will give you the official USPS address for your new address (probably Apt. ##). Just use that.

Last month I sent the same letter to all three CRAs changing our address.

The actual apt. # is 10102.

    Eq reports Apt. 10102
    Ex reports Apt. 10106, and
    TU reports no apt no!

33% correct... no wonder they removed 66% of derogs in the first go-round! :)

I live in an apt, and we report it as:

    2 Main St #6D
    Anywhere, NY 10101
