Ok, I own my own business and would like to report customers who owe me money and stiff me to CRAs. I do not use any CA because they are always small amounts. How do I go about getting set up, so that I am able to report to the CRS's? And if I loan $$$$ to my business from my personal accounts and pay it back, can i report myself?? Anyone know???
It has been awhile since I looked into it, but I believe with Equifax you have to be some type of business member. I think they have some information on their website. Let me know if you find out anything differently. I have an owner financed mortgage where the payment history is terrible! I would love to be able to report this on their credit report.
If you want to pay them a stiff membership fee which is probably an annual fee you can become a member and then you still have to pay to pull reports and maybe to make reports too on a per each basis it the way I understand it. Strikes that the membership fee is somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.000 per year per CRA. You also have to meet other requirements that make it tough for the average small business to meet. Has to be a business address and business phone and maybe other requirements too. I really don't know the full story but they want to make sure that the little guy is going to have a rough time meeting their requirements. Small time collection agencies who operate out of their bedrooms or in home offices don't stand a chance.
I really don't know the full story but they want to make sure that the little guy is going to have a rough time meeting their requirements ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ To bad they don't do the same with the big Guys. That way we wouldn't have all this junk cluttering up our credit reports. The END ************************* LB 59
in the past I've found companies who would pull CR's for me based on the premise that I was going to rent out a house and that I wanted to run reports on the applicants. This was before you could get your fico, and I was looking for a way to get mine not sure if one could add tradelines though..
