Hi, I have three judgments, one of which is satisfied and two that are still unpaid. I'd like to get these taken care of and was wondering: 1. Can judgments be removed for any reason? For example, if I negotiated with the judgment holder could they request that it be removed from my credit report? 2. I'm in Minnesota and I have a judgment that is scheduled to fall off in July '07 and two others in March '08 and December '08. Is there any chance of "the clock" restarting on any of these if I make payments or negotiate with the creditor? 3. How much damage does a PAID judgment have on a FICO score? Is it as bad as several collection accounts or the worst thing you can have? Thanks so much! J
You can contact them to see if they will do a delete for pay.. If they agree just make sure you get it in writing first... If you agree to make payments it can start the clock all over again..Best bet would be a one time payment.. Also I THINK judgements can renew after 10 or 20 years.. Someone correct me if I,m wrong.
