RE: Put it in writing Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you have 60 day from the billing to dispute the charge. In your writing, you must stipulate that you did not recieve service to your satisfaction nor did you recieve any merchandise. A phone call will not preserve your rights. During the dispute, the matter would be left to your and the merchant to settle.
