Hi all. Out of the blue, I started getting these calls from different reps from a company called LHR saying that they have an important decision to make and that i need to call ASAP, etc. I have no idea who they are and they don't show up on my CRs. My question is, how do I get them to stop calling me as it's becoming annoying. They've only left voicemail messages so far as they always call when I'm at work. Should I call them back or does anyone have an address I can send a validate or cease and desist letter to? Any help would be appreciated.
bbb.org shows this: "Customer Experience Our file contains a pattern of complaints from consumers who report dissatisfaction with the company's collection practices. The company has responded to the complaints by offering an explanation of their position or an adjustment. When evaluating complaint information, please consider the company's size and volume of business. The number of complaints filed against the company may not be as important as the type of complaints and how the company handled them. ripoffreport.com shows over 2 years of complaints, with common allegations of reaging, as well as collecting on already paid debts, or collecting from people who do not owe the debt. In at least one case it appears they tried to deflect the consumer's dispute by claiming they would collect the whole amount if he requested validation.
