Hi everyone I just got done alittle time ago by getting my credit report from worthknowing website.I can't belive my score!I score a perfect 100 points. My rating is excellent according to my TU report. How well did you do?I tought it would be interesting to learn about the scores. So how well did you do?
RE: how well did you score at I scored a 5. Does that make you happy. I doesnot make me happy. And, Transunion is my best report. roni
same here Me too a whopping 5!!!!!! I am also not happy with that either and TU is my best report!! Though hubby who has collection, mine is clean scored a 44, doesn't make much sense to me? Mom
RE: how well did you score at No it dosn't but i was wondering about what worthknowing said. They say that they use the same type of software like F.I.C.O scoring uses even tough they don't issue a broad risk score ranaging from 300 to 800 points. They just give you a straight answer on how good of risk you would be for any lender according to your current snapshot.Do any of you think that this is real as it can get?It is a good website for a free credit report.
RE: how well did you score at I scored a 5! I have my judgment that is still on there! I am disputing it and they have until the end of the month to send me results. Frustrating.....I did notice that there were some changes (for the better) since I last pulled a report but it didn't change my score? I can't remember how many delinquent accounts that I had (mostly paid student loans) but they were all zero balance except for 1 from House Hold from when my ex added me on as an authorized user and blew the account off (I got it off of Equifax but not off on any others yet). Then I had 4 collection accounts: 2 from the same place (Safeway), 1 collection account that was a zero balance, and 1 collection account for $1k from a tow truck place (I haven't began to deal with this yet).
RE: how well did you score at I would say no. I would think that a person who scored a 5 would have a score below 600. A mortgage broker who pulled transunion this summer told me my score was above between 620-650 with transunion. For some reason he would not give me the numbers. But anyway. I know transunion is my best. Discover is not on this one. No I got 9 of my defaulted student loans completed deleted from it. I only had 2 left on transunion and that is my only negative with completely marked paid. Anyway, since I live 20 miles from transunion, Chester, Pa., and they are my best report, i hope all creditors will pull them from now on. roni.
My thoughts Well the good thing is FREE, yes I love that aspect of it, can't go wrong with free. I have found theses reports to be some inaccurate though, they had accounts closed which were still open and vice versa and as far as being close to FICO, I seriously doubt it, I recently was preapproved for mortgage and if my scores were truly a 5 and remotely close to the FICO scoring model than I doubt I would have gotten preapproved. But congrats on your 100, how is your history and how many tradelines etc? Mom
RE: how well did you score at Well, my score is 20, and I think the biggest reason outside the 20 inquiries is that they have my auto installment loan listed as a finance company loan. It was taken out at my credit union, so it's definitely bank, not finance company. I think I need to verify that it is listed correctly or have it changed if not. I thought 20 was a bit low...
RE: My thoughts Well i have a total of 3 tradelines now,and They have given me an excellent rating. My tradelines are as follows CHASE 14,000.00 limit DISCOVER 9,000.00 limit MBNA 8,500.00 limit So i am following worthknowings.com recommendations of not having anymore then 3 to 4 revolving accounts.I have been in the credit world for 13 years, and it has been alright. The only bad is when you get your credit started it does come at a high price but after getting it,and making payments on-time,etc. it's does pay-off.Now i get very low interest rates, and very high credit limits. So i will keep myself way under control, and use my credit wisely.
Thanks Ble Yes your tradelines look great, I take it your balances are quite low. Yes I just started building my credit starting last year, so I have a long road ahead and hope I turn out as fortunate as you have Mom
RE: how well did you score at I got a 35 (fair) and you guys know how jacked up my credit is (bk, judgments)! Their scoring must really be screwed up if folks who don't have negatives as severe as mine are scoring 5s. Their analysis is obviously inaccurate.
RE: how well did you score at I agree It's totally unreliable.. I scored a 20 . Anyway I have know Idea why A finance company will pull your score down ? I can't seem to grasp that concept specially if you make timly payments on it . How is it determined ? is it by the term Financial ?
RE: how well did you score at There was a post a while back from Kristi that pretty much said that loans from finance companies are a red flag to creditors. If the loan is for a car, make sure it is showing as a close-end auto loan, not an installment loan. I have my car financed by CAC and it shows on the Worthknowing report as a finance company loan. I've written them to get them to change how it's reported.
RE: how well did you score at Thankx Carrot What exactly is a close-end auto loan ?? and How would a creditor know that it's a Finance company >?? Could you please elaborate . Thankx in advance
RE: how well did you score at A 5 for me too! Seen 2 Hospital collections there. Did not know they existed. Insurance must have claimed towards deductabile. Wonder why they did not contact me? I am paying on a bill there now and no mention of the other 2. If I pay them can I get this removed from report? I also have a Spiegel account showing 0 balance but as closed. This account is active at least according to Spiegel. Two Credit Cards show a higher limit than what they actually are. Is this considered accurate reporting?reporting.
