hi all, just wanted to share with the community my going's on... it took me so long to finally post and I wanted to let everyone that reads the threads know that it definately helps and encourages when I read. anyway since reading and joining the site I have opened a target card, cj, FP, and tribute mc. I have over 20 derogs on my reports... 2 bk13's dismissed 02 & 03, tons of medical collections, 1 furniture CO, 9 judgements total I have been able to get all the late pays from my mortgage removed, along with 2 medical CA unpaid, 1 paid judgement removed total I mailed letters to CRA's and CA's to move forward in my next step in the process since I started out with disputes with the CRA's. my fico went fro 523 down to 496 and rec'vd an email Friday that it is now 510. the only new account that is reporting is First Premier( I mean it showed up on my report before I even got the card in the mail). I can only hope that my scores will improve as the other tradelines show up and also age. I was feeling a little bummed, but I realized this won't be fixed overnite. I'm with you on that... So far, after four months, I've gotten all but two "negatives" either removed or made "positive." Trans Union went up a lot; Experian, up a little; Equifax, down a touch. Inch by inch.
Perseverance is the key! Keep at it, things will improve. It is so difficult in the beginning to have some patience, but these things do take time. Build on the positive motivation of each success, and when you're feeling frustrated, look back at your results of the past, and I'm sure the confidence to overcome will come back.
