Hypothetically: If i had oh, let's say a Citi Illumina for about 4 months, And let's just say that I was HYPOTHETICALLY considering applying for a Citi Plat Select - which do you think has better chances for higher cl when applying- Checking the box that says "I am already a Citi card holder" and filling in all the card details OR "forgetting" to check that box and applying as if I didn't have another citi card? Has anyone ever had experience with this? (OF COUSE - it's all hypothetical - cuz i took an OATH not to apply for any more cards until November
AS FAR AS I KNOW...checking the "BOX" is only a "PRE-FILL" thing...so they use all the current information they have in their computer so you don't have to fill in so many questions on the application... I COULD BE WRONG... I would be DENIED if I did either!!!
Re: HYPOTHETICAL CITI 2nd Card Ques How many citi's do have now. And what is your total credit limit for all? ___________________________ Bankruptcy Protection For Me
Re: HYPOTHETICAL CITI 2nd Card Ques Mark_LA, You cannot have more than 2 accounts with Citibank and they will denied you or took portion of one of Citi credit accounts to open new account. That's what they did to me two yrs ago when i applied for Citi Dividend Plat Select Card. Ron.
Re: HYPOTHETICAL CITI 2nd Card Ques thanks Ron - I have one open acct - Illumina - and one CLOSED acct - the AA card which I consolidated to the Illumina. Will the closed acct be considered a second account????
