ok guys here is the one creditor that is really hitting a nerve. In may of 2002 i purchased a 2002 hyundai accent and financed it through hyundai motor finance. On june 4th of 2002 i was hit by a drunk driver and my insurance adjuster deened my car as "totalled out" So i was told by progressive that the loan was going to be paid off within 2 weeks. Well i immediately notified hyundai about the claim and they said we are going to fax the payoff ammount to progressive today. Well my adjuster messed up somewhere along the way and to make a long story short the loan did not get payed for two months. The bottom line is hyundai did not recieve any money from me for the two months it took progressive to fix there mistake . They were however made very clear of the claim. Yet they post on my credit report that my account with them went 60 days late than it was charged off and a payment was recieved in full after the charge off. First of all how can a loan get charged off after 60 days and y would hyundai post these derogs on my report beeing informed many times of the claim. So i sent a letter to hyundai "crrr" disputing this horror story about 45 days ago and still have got nothing in the mail from them. What route should i take next?. should i sent them another letter? this is really bothering me and i want it listed as paid not payed after charge off. . I just cant stand the fact that they dont answer my letter.any info would be immensely appreciated. thnx

1*No law says they have to wait 180 days.
    2*Dips your score.

    The END ************************* LB 59
