Hey gang... I've had one Crap One card since 1995 with a $1,500 limit and another picked up a few years ago with $1,000 limit. They have been sock drawer cards for account aging purposes for the last few years as my Citi, MBNA and AMEX cards with $10,000+ limits have sufficed. I applied for and received a Crap One MilesOne card. When I opened the envelope, I guess I wasn't really surprised to see a $500 limit. I called Crap One and got the run around story of how they will raise your limits after a year, bla bla bla. Needless to say, that telephone conversation prompted me to cancel my other cards on the spot. I do not need to be hasseled by this company when AMEX, Citi and Fleet have no problem with issuing me credit every six months.
Hey Unruly, Lets try somethin. See if you can make them report as; "Closed by consumer, insufficient credit line".
I had a LOST IN MAIL CARD... The CRA kept on reporting LOST/STOLEN...I kept on disputing...I NEVER HAD POSESSION OF THE CARD...IT WAS LOST IN THE MAIL!!! Sorry we can't say "LOST IN THE MAIL" we don't have that option...I said then you are not 100% ACCURATE AND ARE LYING...they deleted the account with the LOST/STOLEN on it...
Good decision. I closed mine two years ago and still very happy for that. It was my oldest credit line but it did not affect to much my scores. as matter of fact they improved some points after the closure.
