What is the best credit monitoring service? I would like to check my score and report on a weekly basis.

My score is curently around 720 or so as of last year.

I have ~4 open CC accounts with total CL of about $25K and $4k debt all together

I have 4 closed revolving accounts

    No installment loans

Never been late or missed a payment

    No mortgage

Cedit history is about 8 years total, longest 2 cards are since 2001, I am currently 25. 2 of my closed accounts are from 1999 and I will probably try to get them opened back up.

I am shooting to have 800 in 18 months or so if I can, I want to buy a house within that time period so that might complicate things a little bit

Yearly income is around $30K or so

I guess I just wanna know what the bet monitoring stuff is, I will post a better description of my account when I pull a current credit report.

I found Score Watch for $8.95/month..is that good service?

ScoreWatch is good because it gives you your Equifax credit report and FICO score. It also notifies you of changes to your report and score. However, it's only for Equifax.

If you want to monitor all 3 reports (not scores), try TrueCredit. You can pull fresh copies of your reports every 24 hours. The scores are bogus but at least you can see what is on your reports.

The only way to get all 3 FICO scores is on MyFico.com. But you have to pay each time roughly $45 unless you have a 20% discount code which they normally have or if you call them they will give you one.
