Hi, I've sent a goodwill letter to 2 OC to hopefully get my derogs removed. Last night i've received letters from both of the OC where the goodwill went. They said that they found nothing wrong with my credit report and it is actual. They also claimed that it is their duty to report the report correctly. What should i do now? I know for a fact that the reports are incorrect. My experian report is showing that it is still in collection and 180+ days late. Both accounts has been fully pay for. They want proof that my report is incorrect. Is it my job to supply proof? Are there any violations here? Is it time for a nutcase letter? Or sent them proof? Thanks! Eric
So what would be the correct reporting? Paid charge off, Paid collection? either of those will not help you much even in the way of having a zero balance. I would try disputing the balance as being wrong with the credit bureau , that may get you a better result.
