Hello Everyone: I have a $68 chiropractor collection with IC System in Mn. I have sent Validation Letter, signed CRRR with no problems and last week faxed an Estoppel Letter to them. They have continued to call after the validation letter. It is still reporting as collection account. Is anyone having similar issues with IC? Anyone had success getting IC System to remove and delete?
They are tough to deal with. They never responded to my validation letter, but on the 30th day, the paid collection was removed from my Experian report. I made the mistake of assuming that it was also removed from Equifax but just found out I was wrong. I think that the key to them is to just keep after them. You are on the right track.
Same here, although it's not a problem if they continue with collection efforts, I just record each instance and build my case against them.
