Someone here earlier referred to paying for deletion of a CA account as a "good guy approach" Let me just say that this person couldn't be more right. If you would of asked me three weeks ago what I would predict would happen I would say... ...I'll send a validation and they will screw up! Then I'll take 'em to court and drop the suit in exchange for a deletion.....oh, and they eat my debt! Today I will say that I have spent about $2,300 in about 2 weeks using a hybrid between the "litigator" and the "good guy". I sent validation. They ALL, and I mean A L L screwed up. Did I brow beat 'em? No. I simply said "Hey, I gotcha!" And they were like "Uh, yeah you got me" And I was Like cool lets get this payed, you get that deleted, and lunch is on me! I am impressed with myself. I swear to you, as God is my witness, one of these CA asked if I was looking for a job. I said "yes" as a way to make some common ground. She wants my resume on her desk by Monday! I would love to be a double agent, undercover, looking for the inside scoop, the unicorn of information....I will take one for the team. Ehh, I am glad I am so far into this whole process. My scores anyone? Three weeks ago...ehh, just say a month. Ex 529 EQ 536 TU 549 Just the last day or so... Ex 551 EQ 601 TU 554 I have deleted about 16 total CA accts. I have deleted 4 BK's from Ex and 2 from EQ I have deleted 1 judgment I have deleted another 7-8 bad accounts Who's the man? ehh?? That's right......I went there.. SnakeMan
LOL - Nobody says you have to sue and play bad guy. Nobody here says absolutely do not pay your bills (despite what the Money Board thinks wink) Our goal here is to brow beat them into submission just to delete the ##@ tradelines. Many sue, many use the threat of suit to get our way. I guess we are Credit Brats.
Good work snake. I've noticed on a couple of sites that a few more folks seem to be getting payment for deletion. Times must e tough all over and ca's have decided they'd rather get paid than screw around with credit reporting. I'd also like to remind New York state residents that paid collections come off your reports in 5 years as opposed to 7.
That's exactly what I thought was going on. Last year or the year before these guys told me to stuff it. Now times ARE tough all over. I don't blame them a bit. In fact, if I were a CA, I would probably use this sort of thing as a way to entice payments. This is probably not illegal but may be some sort of violation the CA has with the CRA. Thanks for the congrats! I feel great! SnakeMan
