Just checked EX (subscribe to CE). My Fleet account started reporting 1/17, Discover inquiry 1/20. SCORE WENT UP 40 POINTS SINCE 1/16! NOW AT 621! This is my worst report. 3 charge offs from 1998, 2 collections (one medical, one a result of a charge off). And Discover still APPROVED me?!?!?!?!!!!!!! How wonderful but odd?!?!?!!!!!!!

Found the reason I just took a long hard look at my EX report. They are showing an old retail account from 1/1996 as still open, therefore this would have been its anniversary month. That explains it.
