Here's the set-up. A few months ago, after reviewing the many posts here on Creditnet, I begin my trek to clean up my reports. I dispute everything. One thing I dispute is a mortgage with a co. who shall remain nameless b/c I don't want it reversed any earlier than it may be. The mortgage almost foreclosed and I made a deal with the mortgage co. not to foreclose if I could sell. They agreed. House sold for a little less than pay-off. This is noted on my credit report and it shows "Foreclosure procedings started, 120 days past due. The tradeline read, 3 times 30 3 times 60 and 13 times 90. Anyways, I dispute it as not mine, never late, ex-husband's, etc. Always came back verified with the exception of EQ who took off 2 of the 90 day lates. Go figure. Anyways a month or so ago, I send in another dispute to EX stating that whole story of the loan, I was just trying to get another dispute going. I told them how my ex said he was going to re-fi the house, take the money and build numerous things on it when in reality, he paid his ex her back child support of 17 grand. I stated that I felt like I was dupped into signing for this loan and blah, blah, blah. Anyways, last week, the mortgage co. in the matter writes a letter stating that they have been notified by a CRA that I have disputed the loan as fraudulant and could I send any supporting documentation. WTF? The loan is paid and has been closed since 4/01. Anyways, this week, EX deletes the entire mortgage tradeline and today, I get a letter from the mortgage co.(major national company) stating the following; To: Me Subject Co. name loan #....... Dear Me, We have received your request for a credit correction on the above referenced account. The request for correction was submitted on July 31, 2002 to the following credit reporting agencies Equifax Credit Information services 800-685-1111 Experian (formerly TRW) 888 397-3742 (AND GET THIS) Innovis Data Solutions 281-589-1190 Trans Union Credit Information 800-916-8800 The rest of the letter just states how it could that up to 60 days with the CRA to report the credit corrections. It is signed by a "credit reporting specialist" Has anyone had any experience with this???????? I figure they'll catch on sooner than later and my score will drop back down the 70 points I gained. Any advice or should I just sit tight and hope for the best? Thanks and soory about the length. I thought some would also be interested in the Innovis listing on the letter.
Anyone. I don't know if I should take this as a month of great credit or not applying for a thing. THanks for any help
It's obvious that no one has had an experience like this. Any advice? Should I apply for a boat load of credit while it's off my record or do nothing? Thanks for ANYTHING coming my way
I have never had anything like that happen. It's a gift, accept it, LOL. Your Karma is flowing in the right direction, keep doing whatever it is.
