I feel kina overwhelmed and I was hoping for some words of encouragement/advice on where to start. I have pulled all 3 reports through privacy guard. And I have 3 collection accounts with EQ, 5 with EXP and 7 with TU. Please show me where to begin. Thanks, Steve
Getting your reports was certainly a great first step. Were you surprised to see the collections on your reports? Do you feel they are justified? Give a little more info on your particular situation and you should get some good responses as to what to do next!
Hi and welcome to the board Don't worry about being overwhelmed, most of us were when we first started. The good news is that you don't have even half as much stuff to tackle as some I have seen come through. I would set a goal for yourself and write down what you are hoping to accomplish in the end. For me it was buying a new car at a good rate. Then set mini goals such as trying to remove the old or "easy" stuff first then getting the letters out. As soon as you have some success, you will be motivated to push on until you are satisfied. And expect to read, read, read and read more until you are blue in the face.
